As an Architect, you will collaborate with the design team to develop design solutions tailored to the project's context, budget, and aesthetic goals. You will coordinate with other disciplines and oversee the design through all project phases.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze reports and published documents to understand project requirements.
- Develop architectural designs ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate design intent with other disciplines.
- Integrate engineering requirements, site surveys, and field review data, complying with codes and regulations.
- Prepare design reports, drawings, and models per office standards.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance, identify deviations, and resolve issues.
- Review project products, services, and shop drawings for adherence to documents and codes.
Required Skills
- Experience across all project phases.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other architectural software.
- Knowledge of MEP, structural systems, and building codes.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Registration with a professional architectural body is a plus.
Required Experience
- 10-15 years of project experience.
- Experience in Hospitality projects is advantageous.
