Position Summary Game Night Administrator
Responsbilities
- Create Engaging Social Media Content: Produce creative content for social media that captures the excitement of CFL games and amplifies league storylines, showcasing the spectacle of the sport.
- Storytelling and Packaging of Content: Responsible for gathering content from the broadcast and Live Content Creators to create compelling and engaging social posts.
- Collaborate with CFL's Social Media Team: Work closely with the CFL Social Media team to execute content requests, ensuring alignment with marketing, partnerships, and overall league objectives.
- Partner with Live Content Creators: Collaborate with Live Content Creators to deliver high-quality, on-brand content across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in voice and visuals in accordance to CFL Social Strategy.
- Commit to Game Coverage: Cover 25-30 games throughout the regular season, with opportunities to support playoff games and the Grey Cup, ensuring content is consistently produced and shared.
- Follow Social Media Strategies \& Guidelines: Adhere to the CFL's social media strategies, HR policies, and content guidelines to maintain brand integrity and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications \& Skills
- 1 year of professional experience in live sports coverage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for graphic design.
- Experience in video editing and formatting for social media platforms.
- Solid understanding of social media trends, platforms, and how to tailor content for each.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with a passion for sports.
- Familiarity with football, particularly the CFL, and a genuine love of the game.
- Knowledge of journalism practices and social media marketing.
Other Considerations
- Work Schedule \& Environment: Due to the nature of the business, the role requires availability during nights and weekends, with the majority of work taking place during the CFL regular season.
