The Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) reports to the Director of Marketing and an integral part of the marketing team. The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing programs. This person has the ability to strategically think, is analytical, has a keen eye for creative and can work in a fast-paced environment. Above all else, you are a people person with a desire to engage our customers in all of our marketing efforts and look for new opportunities to grow the brand.
Job Duties
- Actively participate in yearly planning and budgeting process to help map the overall strategy and calendar initiatives
- Actively participate in media planning and management
- Lead the execution of marketing/calendar programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with District Managers
- Work with agency partners, to brainstorm ideas, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet marketing objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, photography, partners and video assets
- Oversee content development and updates for customer touch points; light copywriting
- Identify effectiveness and impact of marketing programs with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly to increase sales
- Manage loyalty programs and promotions calendar and execute in-app as well as website content
- Establish program budget parameters, document processes, marketing manual and store lists for menu board and in-store material sizing
- Update and maintain master store list for menu board and in-store sizes
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal team
- Weekly updates on project status and budgets
- Ensure programs align with public relations and other communication activities
- Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more sales
- Gather competitive information and assist in pricing updates
- Communicate program internally and to stores (memos, system message)
- Develop content for Marketing Section of Newsletter
- Manage marketing inventory with warehouse support and replenish inventory as required
- Provide additional support for LSM, store openings and events
- Marketing support for Primucci Products
- Manage and update marketing manual with new processes, checklists etc.
- Coordinate internal team and external partner status meetings and updates
- Weekly Invoicing
Key Qualifications
- 3-4 yrs. of relatable experience required, preferably in QSR or pizza franchise business but not mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience executing marketing programs and campaigns
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Demonstrated creative writing and editing skills
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Experience with media advertising including; print, radio, OOH \& TV
- Ability to motivate and work closely with outside agencies/vendors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to excel under tight deadline pressure.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
