About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Art Director to bring well-known brands to life across all touchpoints from acquisition to recognition. The Senior Art Director will develop a vision of creative possibility in virtually any media and will have the ability to form dynamic working partnerships with every level of the team.
What You'll Do
- Be a brand steward
- Ideate and execute sound creative ideas for client marketing materials in an efficient and economical manner
- Create concepts that show a thorough understanding of the strategy and are extendable into campaigns
- Works closely with creative lead to bring the team's visual concepts to life
- Work independently and collaboratively with a Copywriter partner to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met
- Work with account team to obtain project specifics: strategy, budget and schedule
- Team up with peers to overcome obstacles and create client success
- Offer client and team members innovative advice and solutions from industry examples and experience
- Help organize, maintain, and oversee creative standards and guidelines
- Offer insight on creative briefs and schedules
- Work within tight deadlines
- Mentor and onboard other Art Directors as needed
- Prioritize workload and manage time effectively -- personally and for the team as needed
What You'll Need
- 5-7 years' experience as an Art Director
- Experience presenting to and working with clients and internal partners
- Demonstrated understanding of clients' business needs, and the ability to concept and design compelling solutions that align with overall creative strategy
- Proven ability to listen, digest and resolve client feedback with a creative solution and a positive, can-do attitude
- Capable of working on multiple projects, small or large, with various project leads
- Strong creative and conceptual vision, with the ability to approach every assignment with a fresh perspective
- Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles, and awareness of design trends and innovation
- Proficiency with AfterEffects, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote and PowerPoint
- Solid typography and layout skills
