The Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, vendor relations, IT support, supplies, and legal documents
- Oversee document management systems and legal record retention
- Coordinate compliance activities with OSC and IIROC, including filings and audits
- Monitor regulatory changes and support updates to compliance policies
- Assist with financial reporting, insurance renewals, and financial data tracking
- Handle tax and banking documentation in collaboration with accountants and advisors
- Support charitable foundation activities, including grants and meetings
- Engage with external stakeholders such as clients, service providers, brokers, and regulators
- Participate in strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in administration and financial services
- Knowledge of OSC and IIROC regulations and compliance
- Strong financial and business acumen, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including interaction with senior executives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
