Job Description
As a member of our Borderline Personality Self Regulation Clinic, you will be involved in all aspects of an adherent Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) outpatient program. You will provide clinical assessment and treatment, consultative and educational services to clients, families, community providers, and referral sources.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessments and treatments for clients with Borderline Personality Disorder.
- Deliver individual and group DBT therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
- Offer consultation and educational services to clients, families, and community providers.
Requirements
- Masters of Social Work.
- Registered with College of Social Workers in good standing.
- Formal training and experience in DBT service delivery.
- Experience working with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder in outpatient settings.
- 3-5 years of recent psychiatric experience in a mental health facility or service.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act and PHIPA.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current CPR-HCP certification.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
