Business Analyst

Location -- Mississauga, ON
Your role within the team:
- The Business Analyst, reporting directly to the Director, AI and Automation, supports specific aspects within the Digital Solutions team.
- Identifies business needs and bridges the gap between data, technology, and strategic decision-making.
- Reviews existing business processes, systems, and operations; analyzes data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborates with Directors to develop project scope and deliverables through high-quality analysis and documentation of business requirements.
- Supports the selection, implementation, operation, and support of new software applications.
- Optimizes and streamlines practices and procedures to enhance performance through digital tools, including process redesign and system optimization.
- Develops and writes operating instructions, training documentation, and supports implementation.
- Assists with training during implementation phases, including creating training materials.
- Supports tool transition activities, including migration planning.
- Maintains relationships with key stakeholders: internal clients, global entities, suppliers, and project partners.

The ideal candidate:
- Holds a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Management, or related fields, or has equivalent experience.
- Has 3-5 years of experience implementing and modifying business applications.
- Possesses knowledge of application development, testing, and maintenance.
- Experience with data integration technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Experience in project forecasting, budgeting, and tracking.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Understanding of engineering design processes and the importance of Quality Assurance in the nuclear industry.
- Experience in the nuclear sector is an asset.
