Role Overview
The Application Administrator for Digital Identity, under the direction of the Technology Product Owner, manages configurations, customizations, data quality, and security for Microsoft Entra ID and related solutions. Responsibilities include system support, upgrades, documentation, and ensuring optimal platform performance to support Humber's digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user profiles, security, and data-sharing rules for cloud-based digital identity solutions.
- Customize Microsoft Entra solutions with policies, workflows, and automations.
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with third-party applications adhering to Humber's standards.
- Work in an agile environment, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Create documentation and conduct training for users.
- Support system upgrades, feature testing, and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with application owners to enable new use cases and drive platform innovation.
- Monitor system performance and user adoption, ensuring security and accessibility standards are met.
Qualifications
- Three-year degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; ongoing education or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Identity platform; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and work management tools like Azure DevOps.
Skills and Abilities
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong communication skills and ability to create documentation and training.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles, change management, and reporting.
- Problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and innovative thinking.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, work collaboratively, and adapt to change.
