Job Title: Building Enclosure Design Engineer (EIT)

Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal Building Enclosure Project Engineers to develop envelope solutions that reduce carbon footprint and enhance energy efficiency, aligning with standards like BC Step Code, Zero Carbon Building, Passive House, LEED, etc.
- Receive mentorship from industry experts to develop your technical skills and career.
- Work with Project Engineers throughout project phases, from conceptual design to completion.
- Coordinate with architects and consultants on design reviews and enclosure details.
- Engage in site assessments, evaluations, and report preparations.
- Contribute to drawings and specifications for new and existing building projects.
- Participate in client meetings, value analysis, and basic project costing.
- Perform thermal bridging calculations to support effective assembly RSI values.
- Adhere to quality control procedures and participate in construction reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with Building Science coursework.
- Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC.
- 0-3 years of experience in building enclosure engineering, construction, or consulting.
Skills:

- Strong conceptualization skills and aptitude for existing facilities.
