Senior Project Manager, ESG (Contract/temporary assignment)

This role involves managing the implementation of EDC's ESG Program, working cross-functionally to support Canadian companies' growth globally through responsible business practices. The position reports to the Director, Enterprise Orchestration \& Project Management, and requires a blend of project management skills, technical understanding, and ESG experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the ESG program's in-flight projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business and IT, including external vendors and subject matter experts.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably with ESG initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
