About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will take an active role in driving the expansion of our Gas, Fire, and Flame Detection Systems across Canada---focusing on the marine, industrial, energy, manufacturing, and transportation sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-growing company known globally for its life-saving safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in your territory.

Prospect and onboard new clients while strengthening relationships with existing ones.

Conduct in-person client visits, virtual presentations, product demos, and contract negotiations.

Attend industry events, lunch \& learns, trade shows, and webinars.

Collaborate with distributors, engineering firms, and contractors.

Track leads, interactions, and forecasts using our CRM system.

Stay current on industry trends, standards, and technologies.

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field OR 2--5 years' experience in technical sales to the marine, industrial, or energy sectors in Canada.

Strong "hunter" mentality with a track record of finding and closing new business.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.

Excellent communication skills, self-starter attitude, and high energy.

Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office 365, and business software tools.

Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Fluent in English.

Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Willingness to travel up to 30%, occasionally on short notice.
