The House of Commons' Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is currently looking to staff multiple positions of Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms.
This recruitment and selection process is restricted to employees of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security Office.
About the Role:
In this role, you are an armed presence in the Chamber and act as a first responder in the absence of the Sergeant-at-Arms. As such, your understanding in security compliance, parliamentary proceedings and protective measures is crucial in delivering expert security advisory services and service excellence to the House of Commons Administration, Members of Parliament, their staff as well as the parliamentary partners.
In addition, you manage a portfolio of parliamentary clients, and help with the development of customized protocols in order to continue the advancement and improvements of security practices and procedures.
