Presents a positive image to Gordon Food Service (GFS) customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of GFS products. Serves as a liaison between GFS management and customers, communicating all customer issues and concerns. Operates GFS equipment professionally and safely, demonstrating attention to detail, safe work habits, and working knowledge of Tractor-Trailer and refrigerated van operations. Must pass the required sales service representative physical ability test for the area hired.

Responsibilities :
- Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products.
- Build and maintain good customer relationships and demonstrate self-control.
- Accurately collect customer payments, safeguard company funds, and follow banking policies.
- Perform all Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment.
- Maintain proper equipment, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Complete daily check-ins accurately and on time, with no errors.
- Collaborate with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns.
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Manage paperwork including register, credits, and pickups.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and participate in department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance in the GFS uniform.
- Demonstrate punctuality, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
