About the RoleResponsible for setting and guiding the strategy for all communications, website, social media, public relations, messages and collateral to consistently articulate the CFLA's mission. The Communications Officer will ensure that the CFLA is viewed as the primary source, disseminator, and conduit of information within this diverse network and constituent base. Purpose \& ScopeDevelop, implement, and evaluate the annual communications plan across the network's discrete audiences in collaboration with the CFLA team, volunteers, and stakeholders
Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate
Put communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities
Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral, including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, and the CFLA's website
Coordinate webpage maintenance---ensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly
Track and measure the level of engagement within the network over time

Coordinate and organize annual meetings that engage the network's discreet audiences
Manage all media contacts
Some shared responsibility for the CFLA's professional development program (specifically, the Fundamentals and CLFP leasing education program) and providing liaison staff support for various CFLA Committees. What You Need: We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:University degree or College diploma
Two or more years of communications, marketing, and/or public relations experience
Ability to work effectively under pressure and use tact and diplomacy in dealing with all community members. Adheres to high ethical standards
Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies
Excellent oral and written communication with demonstrated dynamic and engaging interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills, considering cultural and organizational contexts
Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence"Strong analytical, research skills, project management and evaluation skills, including using technology to manage data, analyze and generate reports
Proficient in the use of computers (MS Office and MacOS), and familiarity with client relationship or association management software (familiarity with Bizzone DNA Database is an asset) Proficiency in French is an asset
