We're Looking for a Founding Engineer / Technical Co-founder (AI / Computer Vision / Navigation)
At AugmenVision, we're building assistive technology that empowers blind and low-vision individuals to navigate complex environments independently and confidently using smart wearable devices.
Our mission is rooted in inclusivity, independence, and human-centered innovation. We believe that technology should serve everyone.
We're at the early stage of development, and progressing toward our first prototype. We're looking for a mission-driven software engineer to join us as afounding team member.
You might be a fit if you're:
- Highly driven and passionate about accessibility and building technology with real-world impact
With experience in:
- Computer vision, deep learning, and real-time inference
- Indoor/outdoor navigation (SLAM, IMU, beacons, Wi-Fi, magnetic fields...)
- Building scalable and adaptive user experiences for edge devices
- Python, C++, or embedded software
- AR/VR, Unity, or mobile dev
This is an equity-based role (pre-funding) ideal for someone who's excited about building from scratch, shaping the tech and product roadmap, and creating real-world impact.
