This is a maternity leave converage. Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a IT Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to oversee the end to end recruitment process and conduct recruitment activities for designated client groups and new hire requisitions that have been assigned.
The primary focus of this role is intermediate to senior positions across the company with an additional focus on our Financial Service Representatives. Responsibilities:Collaborate with IT and Asset Management hiring managers in Canada to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and qualifications. Develop comprehensive recruitment strategies for open positions.
Identify and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract high-quality candidates. Establish relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to build a strong campus recruitment program. Candidate Sourcing and Evaluation:Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.) to source potential candidates.
Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications. Conduct phone, video and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, cultural fit, and potential. Coordinate and facilitate assessment tests and interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Manage applicant tracking system (Workday) and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. Combination of in-house and recruitment agency experience with strong IT recruitment background.
Experience with both corporate and campus recruitment is highly desirable. Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
Strong sourcing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
