Job Title: HR Recruitment Coordinator
Location Address: CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East (200BLOOR) or CAN, Ontario, Waterloo, 500 King Street North (500KING)
Working Arrangements: Hybrid -- 3 days on site Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
Contract Duration: 05/13/2025 to 12/31/2026
Possibility of extension or conversion to FTE? Possible
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm (preferred) or 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Typical Day in Role
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team by overseeing recruitment coordination activities.
- Initiate and manage background checks by collaborating with candidates and our background check vendor.
- Assist new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Format job descriptions for posting on external niche sites.
- Prepare the monthly report and manage referral bonus payments.
- Coordinate with other HR departments to ensure effective information flow and a consistent approach.
- Assist with special projects related to recruitment operations as assigned.
- Support our extended HR operations team as needed.
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in recruitment, training, or administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using background check platforms; experience with HireRight is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, and flexibility.
Nice-To-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Workday is strongly preferred.
- Experience using HireRight.
Education
Bachelor's degree is an asset.
