Schedule Availability
- Part-time 3-4 days a week, 20-30 hours per week
- Shift lengths can range from 5-8 hours
- Weekdays, with at least one weekend day
- Preferred days: Wednesday to Saturday
- Early morning shift start: 3:30 am - 10 am
- Morning shift start: 7 am - 1 pm
Wages
$19.50-$21 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips and paid breaks.
Duties \& Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to make dough; secondary responsibilities include processing the dough: cutting and shaping loaves.
- Scaling ingredients
- Mixing multiple dough batches of 50-160kg each
- Pulling dough out of the mixer and portioning into boxes
- Cutting and shaping the dough into loaves
- Cleaning and restocking inventory
Requirements
- Proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment when needed
- At least 1 year of commercial kitchen experience
- 1-3 years of dough-related work experience
- Culinary or baking education preferred
- Strong physical constitution, able to lift up to 50 lbs
- No existing injuries
- Willing to work with intensity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Punctuality and ability to arrive independently on time
Ability to Commute/Relocate
- Reliably commute to Hamilton, ON, or plan to relocate before starting work
