JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Manager/General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including the overall in-house guest experience, reservations, escape rooms, responsible alcohol service, inventory management, systems management, maintenance and upkeep of facilities, promoting customer reviews and sales initiatives, and managing day-to-day employment matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MANAGEMENT TASKS:
- The Business: Manage all aspects of the operation alongside the venue Managers, understand immersive entertainment trends and tastes, attend local networking events, develop community relationships, help establish "Escape Manor" as a premiere entertainment brand, understand budgets and operational targets, report on targets, and lead by example.
- People: Hire, train, and maintain an exceptional team, schedule employees, create development plans, establish performance management programs, work on staff incentives and targets, manage labor costs, and foster a culture of service excellence.
- Facilities and Systems: Maintain the venue, monitor and manage lounge and escape rooms, ensure cleanliness, develop inventory systems, and be proficient with brand standards, POS, HR systems, and marketing tools.
- Food and Beverage Service: Create menus, work with vendors, ensure cleanliness, and implement responsible alcohol service protocols.
- Community Outreach and Digital Marketing: Seek event opportunities, create marketing calendars, develop engaging media, and manage online presence.
- Guest Services and Other: Respond to customer correspondence, manage group visits, promote reviews, and develop marketing collateral.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Additional pay: Bonus pay

Experience: Minimum 5 years in general management and hospitality management preferred
Language: French preferred

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 annually
