Air Borealis
Air Borealis is a unique entity in Canadian aviation, offering scheduled and charter services to Northern and Coastal Labrador with both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. It is a collaborative partnership between the Innu Development Limited Partnership, Nunatsiavut Group of Companies, and PAL Airlines, serving as a vital link and essential service provider to the communities within its network.
We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Maintenance team, supporting our growing operations with dedicated aviation professionals.
Our Operations:
- Rotation shifts: 2 weeks on -- 2 weeks off, 12-hour shifts.
- Terms last between 3 to 6 months, with potential extension.
Our Flight Line Maintenance involves inspections and repairs conducted between flights or overnight, including layover checks, heavy checks, troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.
Our base is in St. John's, NL, with opportunities to work in various locations throughout the Maritimes.
Qualifications \& Skills:
- Transport Canada-approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent experience (e.g., ICS).
- M1 License is required.
- Experience in flight line operations is an asset.
- Experience with aircraft such as Twin Otter is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
- Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to operational fluctuations.
