Role: HR Manager
Location: Canada
Responsibilities
• Acts as primary point of contact for managers and employees for day-to-day HR
related questions and guides junior members of HR as and when appropriate
• Develops and implements HR strategy to drive employee retention initiatives
aligned with the overall business strategy
• Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth
including but not limited to human rights, conflict and performance
• Partners with senior leadership to drive proactive strategies of engagement,
wellbeing, operations and learning and development
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human
resources provincial requirements
• Manages immigration requests ensuring compliance with current legislation
• Oversees performance management \& review process and other corporate Human
resources programs as and when required
• Drives employee engagement activities, diversity, and inclusion to enhance work
environment and employee satisfaction
• Advises, and supports management in employee relations, employee retention
initiatives, disciplinary and performance management
• Designs management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human
resource policies and procedures
Qualifications
• 10- 15 years of HR experience with 5 years in HR management
• BPO experience is preferred
• Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint for HR presentations/ Proficient computer skills
including Microsoft Office Suite
• Post-secondary education in HR or related fields/ CPHR designation is an asset
• Strong communicator and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional in
dynamic work environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to bring solutions to complex people
and business problems
• Strong sense of time management and prioritization
• HR legal and compliance knowledge
