The Disclosure Analyst, Lead is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate preparation, review, and delivery of mortgage disclosures in accordance with federal, state, and investor guidelines, including TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures), RESPA, and TILA. This role supports process improvement initiatives and provides leadership and guidance to a team of disclosure analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Audit files for completeness and accuracy to ensure compliance before sending out initial closing disclosures and Loan Estimates
Monitor required disclosures and distribute them through the e-signature portal or fulfillment process, as appropriate.
Monitor Change of Circumstance requests and ensure re-disclosures comply and are issued within required timeframes
Maintain efficient levels of service and comply with regulatory timelines associated with the completion and dissemination of loan disclosure
Handles team escalations
Works with managers to strategize workflow improvements
Perform other duties as required and assigned
Requirements
1-2 years’ experience in a mortgage operations position required
Encompass loan origination system experience required
Thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements required
Working knowledge of RESPA “Change in Circumstances”, including Valid vs. Invalid changed circumstances reasons (required)
Strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, organization
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with ease
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
4-year degree required
