Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. Elicits, analyzes, validates, and consolidates business requirements related to technology solutions and their integration points.Applies Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) methodologies, tools, and processes in alignment with ITM Project Management standards and practices.Partners with Program Leads and technical experts to validate and gain consensus on business requirements.Collaborates with fellow IT Business Analysts to promote consistency in processes and approaches across initiatives.Oversees requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the defined scope.Effectively manages multiple concurrent initiatives, potentially at varying stages of the project lifecycle.Delivers comprehensive progress reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and issues for timely escalation.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:No less than a University Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field + 4 years of experience in Information Technology business analysis.Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, such as 3-year college diploma + 6 years of experience in Information Technology business analysis, may be considered.Preferred Requirements: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation and active membership in the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).Typically, 10 years of continuous business analysis experience, including expertise in Enterprise Analysis, Requirements Management and Planning, Elicitation and Communication, Requirements Analysis and Documentation, as well as Solution Assessment and Validation.Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on a major airport program or similarly complex infrastructure initiative in a relevant discipline.Demonstrated strength in organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Additional InformationThis position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
