Job DescriptionWe are looking for an engineer or a candidate for the engineering profession (CEP) to participate in exciting projects in the transportation field at our Rimouski office. You will have the opportunity to work on various technical challenges, ranging from bridge structures to coastal protection. If you are passionate, motivated, and ready to take on large-scale challenges, this opportunity is for you!Main Responsibilities• Actively participate in the design, detailed engineering, and project management of bridges and civil engineering structures.
• Oversee activities under the responsibility of an engineer, ensure the completion of work, and ensure the compliance of plans and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and assessments and establish construction schedules.
• Conduct studies and write technical reports.
• Validate the feasibility and methods of carrying out the work.
• Determine construction costs.
• Provide technical support during construction work.
• Occasionally supervise the construction of civil engineering structures on siteQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structures or recognized equivalent (recent graduates are welcome).
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to become a member.
• Experience in bridges and civil engineering structures.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Construction safety training (ASP card).
