As a CEP Engineer in construction project supervision, you will be involved in overseeing road, railway, and maritime structures. Seize this opportunity to advance your career in an inspiring environment!Main ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare the supervision of works and participate in planning aspects related to connected specialties such as environmental protection, traffic management, and health and safety at work.Supervise work under the responsibility of an engineer, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and coordinate quality control activities for materials with laboratories.Track material quantities, write daily reports, and prepare documents required for payment requests.Analyze the contractor’s schedules, monitor discrepancies between actual and planned timelines, and manage change orders and potentially contentious work.Act as a liaison between designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth progress of the site.Draft notices to contractors to enforce contract clauses, laws, and regulations in effect.Regularly inform the client on the progress of the work.Prepare notes for the production of as-built plans, and manage site meetings to ensure the smooth execution of works.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 1 year of relevant experience in the field Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec Construction site safety training (ASP Card) Construction and repair of MTQ structures course is an asset AQTR training in supervision and monitoring of roadwork signs (STC-102) is an asset Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency in French (oral and written) Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Mobility (ability to travel for extended periods of time) As an employee of CIMA+ you are also able to participate in Comprehensive Group Benefits available from day one for all permanent employees working at least 20 hours per week.???
