Job Description: Location: hybrid The Operational Learning and Performance (OLP) team provides innovative and digital learning, quality, and knowledge management solutions to the Canadian Operations business lines. Our solutions are aligned to the overall strategy and vision for Canadian Operations and enable our business partners to provide client centric service excellence. The Business Partner Lead will be responsible for providing strategic support to their dedicated business partners. This role will be the voice of the learning, quality and knowledge management team collaborating with our business partners to develop strategies aligned to the business goals and outcomes. This role will review and assess incoming requests, consult with the business to understand the needs, and collaborate deeply with all roles on the OLP team to ensure solutions are implemented and aligned to the OLP best practices, standards and strategies. What will you do? Operate as a trusted advisor and consultant for dedicated business partners. Understand and keep current on business partner strategic priorities and OKR’s and develop an annual OLP strategy and roadmap for each of the business lines supported. Conduct strategic conversations and in-depth discussions with business partners to determine needs. As a performance consultant, ensure solutions requested are ‘evaluated’, supports and is aligned to the OLP and Canadian Operations business strategy. Collaborate with OLP team members to ensure in-scope requests are assigned, resourced, scheduled, and implemented on time and aligned to our standards. Oversee the work being done for the business partners, collaborating with all roles to ensure each solution is delivered on time with the right resources in place, pivoting plans as needed to respond to change requests as they arise. Plan, monitor and evaluate solutions to measure success aligned to business results through multiple channels, including OLP data insights, business metrics and other resources. Review, analyze and share impacts of operational, quality, KM and learning metrics to the business partners. Collaborate with other OLP team members, business leaders, audit, risk, and finance to ensure alignment of solutions to larger Canadian Operations strategy. What do you need to succeed? 5 to 10 years’ experience in learning and performance consulting Experience creating learning and quality strategies aligned to business objectives. 5+ years of experience partnering with operations teams to develop high-quality global training and quality programs. Experience delivering to the unique demand of Operations teams with innovative and digital solutions. Strong knowledge of Learning and Development best practices, tools, methodologies Formal training and experience with Agile project methodology and other process improvement methodologies an asset Exceptional relationship building and consultative skills. Experience partnering with business leaders at various levels of an organization. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong relationship building, influence, change management capabilities and performance consulting. Strong communication skills – interacting confidently and building relationships across all areas of the organization.
