Purchasing Agent will report to Purchasing Manager and will support and execute the day-to-day purchasing of direct materials and direct production materials required for their designated factory. What you will be doing: Manage inventory levels of assigned materials and ensure MRP planning parameters are accurately maintained. Support supplier performance measurement while maintaining and developing supplier relationships at all levels. Investigate and resolve supply issues using tactical and strategic approaches, expediting urgent needs and implementing contingency plans. Process purchasing documentation and maintain a clean, organized ERP system while monitoring order and transport status. What you bring: 3-5 years’ Industrial purchasing experience. Post-secondary education. Computer literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, PP). Advanced excel skills. Hands-on experience with SAP or any ERP system for material purchases and reporting. Good communication skills and good problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organizing skills and knowledge of purchasing principles.
