Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Building Services, to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Building Services in the Information Services Unit, (ISU), part of Pembina’s Corporate Services Division (CSD).

The successful candidate will take on a key role in space optimization, facility management, and collaborate on construction projects while working with stakeholders to create safe, functional, and sustainable environments. Adaptability is essential, as the candidate will cross-train on various tasks to provide support and relief coverage when needed.
Pembina’s Building Services team is a trusted partner dedicated to creating value by providing safe, healthy, and efficient workspaces. We focus on cost-effective maintenance and management of Pembina’s offices while delivering tailored real estate solutions to meet organizational needs. Supporting Pembina’s growth, we facilitate the acquisition, leasing, and construction of additional workspaces as required. As stewards of employee engagement, Building Services ensures a seamless, ergonomic, and productive work environment, enhancing the employee experience through exceptional customer service and proactive support.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Collaborate with stakeholders and management to design and implement innovative space strategies;
Collaborate, lead, and monitor facility-related projects to maximize efficiency and functionality across field sites;
Build and manage relationships with internal clients and external vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure services are delivered on time, monitor KPIs and ensure budget is adhered to;
Develop, manage, and maintain budgets to ensure financial targets are met;
Enforce health and safety compliance through policy implementation and inspections to address potential hazards;
Promote sustainable practices and energy-efficient solutions to reduce environmental impact;
Serve as a subject matter expert on renovation and construction projects;
Stay updated on trends and best practices in facility management and sustainability;
Support equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in alignment with Pembina’s core values;
Requirement to be able to travel to various field offices outside of Calgary from time to time;

Qualifications:
5–10+ years of proven experience in facility management and building services, with expertise in construction and space strategy development;
Strong project operations skills, with a commitment to completing projects on time and within budget while successfully managing vendor relationships and contracts;
Knowledge of health and safety best practices, building code regulations, and sustainability practices related to facility management;
Proficiency with AutoCAD or other design software for space planning is an asset;
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities;
Professional certification in Facility Management or a related field is an asset.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
