Responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
Assisting in loading/unloading freight and stocking shelves as needed
Reviewing shipments to ensure correct freight has been delivered
Checking invoices to ensure products and quantities are correct
Maintaining inventory levels and placing orders accordingly
Processing paperwork and warranty claims
Operating and maintaining all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Being responsible for proper storage of a variety of products
Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times
Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Organizational skills and great time management
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Positive, professional approach and attitude toward work, strong interpersonal skills
Previous retail experience would be an asset
Previous receiving experience would be an asset
Working knowledge of hardware, home centre, farm/agricultural products and building supplies is an asset
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Sense of urgency
