Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Account Executive to support our U.S. expansion, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for building new relationships with industry broker owners, prospecting. demoing to, and activating customers onto Lendesk’s core product for mortgage professionals to support our US expansion. The role will oversee multiple full funnel pipelines and will be compensated based on customers signing contracts and converting customers to adopt (use) the product.
The Senior Account Executive is expected to work with multiple departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, Design, CS) to develop optimized strategies to drive growth.
Responsibilities
Uncover new business opportunities, leveraging prospecting skills and mortgage industry relationships in the US Mortgage Market
Demo our fintech product, showcasing mortgage application flow from intake to submission to compliance
Responsible for setting up early sales processes and playbooks
Monthly travel required to our headquarters in Detroit, MI
Manage both inbound and outbound pipeline efforts
Activation - Overseeing the onboarding and training process for customers, to ensure adoption of product
Maintain a knowledge base of US mortgage systems and industry news to better service client needs
Manage a partnership contract pipeline and an user activation pipeline
Present clear business cases to internal stakeholders regarding opportunities
Skills & Experience
3+ years of progressive sales experience in a technology role
Must have knowledge in the financial or mortgage industry. Bonus if it is in the US market
Track record of building and nurturing long term business relationships with business decision makers
Shown ability to sign multi-years contract agreements
Entrepreneurial mindset- ability to be proactive, innovative, and take ownership of your region
Vocal and active in grassroots marketing ie) facebook broker groups
Proven track record of conversion, objection handling, and closing experience in a remote first environment
Experience in managing sales processes, forecasting and building data driven strategies
Having a high level of autonomy and accountability
Nice to haves:
Experience with Hubspot
Experience using AI tools in a sales role

This role has a salary range base of $63,500- $103,000 which accounts for the skills you’ll bring to the team, the impact you’ll have on the business, and the growth you’ll experience in the role.
