POSITION OVERVIEW/
The Director, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy in alignment with business objectives. The Director will lead all aspects of marketing including strategy, content development, digital presence, and campaign execution with a particular emphasis on personally writing and delivering artifacts, thought leadership, and marketing content that speaks to the real estate technology (PropTech) industry.
This position requires a balance of strategic planning and tactical execution, with an emphasis on deep subject-matter familiarity, strong writing skills, and a hands-on approach to marketing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/
Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals including content, email, digital, and brand marketing
Define and refine the brand narrative, ensuring all marketing materials align with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and value propositions
Work closely with business leadership, product, design and sales teams to align on messaging and priorities.
Align marketing activities with leadership priorities, go-to-market strategies, and sales initiatives.
Position the company as a thought leader in the PropTech space.
Write and publish high-quality executive slide decks, articles, sales material, newsletters, and case studies that reflect the voice of the company and drive engagement. You will be responsible for ideation, research, copy writing, and editing.
Design all digital and print marketing and brand collateral.
Develop collateral and messaging tailored to specific customer segments (e.g., commercial real estate, residential tech, system integrators, property managers).
Launch and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and web from start to finish.
Maintain and update the company website with fresh content and implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
Track KPIs and performance metrics across all marketing activities. Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Create tools and resources to support the sales process, such as pitch decks and other artifacts
Liaise with third-party marketing agencies
Integrate insights and contacts into ongoing nurture campaigns and CRM systems.
Lead end-to-end event and booth strategy aligned with overarching marketing goals.
Own budget planning across all event components including booth, travel, logistics, and promotion.
Collaborate with the Director of Design and Strategy to ensure booth design reinforces brand identity and maximizes engagement.
Drive pre-event promotion via integrated campaigns
Manage logistics: booth construction, shipping, travel, accommodations, and credentialing.
Leverage digital tools for lead capture and real-time qualification.
Represent the company in speaking opportunities, panels, and high-value networking.
Direct timely lead follow-up through segmented outreach and sales enablement tactics.
Analyze event ROI, lead quality, and pipeline impact to inform future strategy.
QUALIFICATION/
10+ years of progressive marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
Strong strategic planning skills ability to align marketing with business objectives.
Expertise in data analysis and performance metrics (KPIs, ROI, CAC, etc.).
Deep understanding of market research, segmentation, and positioning.
Leadership & Communication
Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting and storytelling.
Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departments (sales, product, finance, etc.).
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
Experience with brand management, content strategy, and creative direction.
Familiarity with SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and web analytics.
Experience in Figma, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
HubSpot certified
