The opportunity TC Energy’s Supply Chain Major Projects group is evolving to meet the needs of our business, and we are seeking an experienced Associate to provide dedicated support to the Director of Major Projects and provide ancillary support to the VP of SCM, other SCM Directors, and a team of senior managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for complex and confidential administrative assignments requiring a high level of professionalism, sense of urgency, and strong attention to detail. The Associate will have interaction with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, external agencies, other departments and must demonstrate a collaborative approach. Applicants interested in this opportunity must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with constantly changing priorities. What you’ll do Manage a heavy calendar, coordinate priorities and meetings, manage schedules, book appointments and business travel arrangements Assist with day-to-day administrative support Act as a liaison between the Director and other Senior Executives and their Assistants Prepare, format, and coordinate reports and presentations (up to Board level) using PowerPoint, internal databases, and external resources for internal and external audiences Provides professional drafted communications for memos, letters, and presentations Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution Take and publish meeting minutes per business needs Assist in the management of routine workflows between the Director and department staff Prepare budget forecast, analysis and recommendations Execute various processes for department, including organization and position management, utilizing workforce and SAP software suites for requests and information management as well as department moves and office planning Complete timesheets and expense reports as required Handle highly sensitive and confidential information and issues in an appropriate and professional manner; and direct sensitive issues to appropriate executives Manage information and reports including electronic filing as well as maintain critical filing systems, contacts and databases Act as the primary point of contact and build valuable relationships with key internal/external parties Plan and organize events as required for the department Track and follow up on action items, invitations, correspondence and documents for signature Review, develop and implement departmental administrative processes and training on systems Develop relationships and work collaboratively on tasks and deliverables with leaders and administrative staff in Canada, Mexico and the US. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of ten (10+) years of related work experience with increasing levels of responsibility with experience at the Executive Administrative level High school diploma or post-secondary certification in administration from a recognized institution Proven organizational, planning, prioritization, scheduling and time management skills Proficient with Workday, SAP, and work processes using proprietary and third party software tools Expert in the use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) Excellent written, proof reading and editing skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Ability to represent TC Energy effectively to external parties Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
