Together, we can build a better world Job DescriptionOversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Administrative Accounting functionsManage a team of 15+ employees, with 3 direct reports, accountable for timely and accurate payment of our vendors, billings to our clients and management of employee expenses and purchase ordersDevelop and monitor KPI’s to measure the teams performance and proactively identify areas of concern and proposed solutionsReview existing processes, identifying areas to improve the end user experience and job satisfaction for the Accounting teamSupport the implementation of process automation and system integrations while ensuring customer service level is maintainedMaintain internal process and training documentation, providing support to team members and employees outside the departmentDevelop and maintain relationships with the operations team to foster healthy and functional teamwork between team membersLead project forecast reviews and ensure accuracy which includes gathering data from all stakeholdersFinalize work-in-progress schedules and project close outSupport the district’s leadership teams with annual operational and financial planningDevelop reports to support district growth and monitor KPIsSupport all accounting and operational processes Qualifications5-10 years of progressively responsible work experienceMinimum 3 years in a management roleAccounting diploma / degreeConstruction industry experience an assetStrong skills in Microsoft Excel, experience working with queries and data tables is an asset.Additional InformationChandos is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture and this includes our recruitment and hiring process.
