Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Selling
Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying individual needs and creating further sales opportunities.
Promote customer loyalty by inviting customers to join the database and ensuring confidentiality of their information.
Consistently aim to achieve and exceed retail sales goals through cross-selling across Skincare, Makeup, and Fragrance categories using in-depth product knowledge.
Build strong customer relationships to create a unique and differentiated brand experience.
Identify customer profiles to effectively introduce new products and tailor recommendations across all three axes.
Conduct personalized makeovers, facials, and fragrance demonstrations, including participation in promotional events.
Technical Skills & Administration
Analyze sales results to identify growth opportunities and drive business performance.
Contribute to achieving sales targets and overall account development.
Ensure expert application of makeovers and skincare consultations, meeting CHANEL standards and showcasing versatile makeup techniques.
Maintain a deep understanding of fragrance products to educate and engage customers.
Support inventory management, including stock replenishment, deliveries, and asset protection.
Monitor and properly utilize testers and samples, ensuring timely replenishment.
Participate in virtual and in-person training sessions and complete all assigned digital learning modules.
Personal Effectiveness, Motivation & Presentation
Exhibit passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
Maintain a polished appearance in line with CHANEL standards, demonstrating current makeup trends and adhering to uniform and grooming policies.
Uphold a clean, organized, and professional work environment aligned with brand merchandising guidelines.
Complete CHANEL Induction and ongoing training, including all available digital courses.
Ensure merchandise is well-presented, priced correctly, and laid out according to brand and store guidelines.
Teamwork, Communication & Relationships
Support team success by demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.
Share relevant product knowledge and updates with colleagues to enhance team performance.
Actively engage in team meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
Respect confidentiality as required by leadership and training staff.
Requirements
2–5 years of retail sales experience, specifically in fragrances and beauty products.
Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Mandarin are a plus.
Flexible availability for AM and PM shifts.
Skilled in makeup and skincare application; certifications in makeup artistry or skincare are a plus.
Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
