About The Role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-Time Program Coordinator to join our Medical Services Team. In this role you will work closely with the Director, Medical Services to organize support provided to the Medical Services Program ensuring timelines are adhered to and expectations are met.
The Medical Services provides consultation and support for both internal and external customers at Canadian Blood Services.
Formula For Success
Leveraging your knowledge and expertise as an administrator, you will support and/or facilitate all Medical Services Programs as assigned.
Utilizing your technical and analytical skills, you will maintain and monitor electronic/other data, as related to specific programs including but not limited to: Updating shared working directories and document repositories, developing and maintaining datasheets, and reviewing, naming and filing documents in electronic databases.
Drawing on your leadership skills, you will participate in staff onboarding and training for Medical Services Representatives on specific processes.
Utilizing your exceptional attention to detail, you will provide input related to opportunities for process improvement.
Desired Education and Skills
Post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably a University Degree or Community College Diploma in Health Management/Public Administration.
Minimum of three years of previous experience in providing input or early development and maintenance of a medical services program.
Minimum three years of related experience in a medical environment at a national level.
Knowledge of the Office 365 suite of programs is an asset.
Understanding of, and able to function in a GMP environment.
