We are looking for Business and Computer Science/Engineering students to join the ATCO Electric – Distribution Team. Work term starts in September 2025 for 8-, 12- or 16-month period in Edmonton.
Who you are:
Must be enrolled in a co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.

What you get to do:
Assist in developing, improving, and standardizing contracting related processes and procedures
Support collection, exchange, validation, analysis, tracking, and reporting of key project/program performance data, metrics, and documents
Build high-level baseline schedules to track schedule updates and inputs (progress reports, resource availability, change requests, risk assessments, quality control, and communication logs)
Assist in the scheduling and dispatch of internal employees for QA/QC and productivity activities
Update actual cost data as required
Log and update change log, document baseline updates
Support risk identification, contingency tracking, and mitigation activities
Support document control duties
Prepare recurring performance reports for leadership review
Attend project meetings to observe and document meeting minutes, action item lists, process gaps or improvement opportunities
Support lessons learned collection from project closeouts
Assist in benchmarking and research activities (best practices for contractor performance management)
