What you’ll do: Facilitate group activities for residents with differing abilities, interests, needs and preferences Deliver an array of planned and spontaneous social, recreational and therapeutic programs In collaboration with management, provide direction, support and assistance to volunteers during activity programs and familiarizes volunteers with related activity techniques Pay keen attention to changes in resident functional ability, interest, participation, mood and ability to accomplish tasks What you’ll need: Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Recreation program or equivalent education and experience with seniors Current First Aid and Food Safe – Level I certificates required Experience working with seniors with moderate to severe dementia A Class 4 driver’s license would be an asset Internal Closing Date: May 22, 2025 Members of Equity-Seeking groups are encouraged to apply Union Membership is a condition of Employment Wage Levelling Salary: $28.95 per hour If you’re motivated by the privilege of serving our seniors with dignity, respect and compassion, come join us!
