Learn more at: https://www.rimrockcareers.com/career-opportunitiesStarting Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour Job DescriptionSupervise and participate in maintenance activities and special projects at the Hotel and at offsite staff accommodation buildingsTrain maintenance workers to perform their work while following safe work practicesLead morning maintenance team meetingsCreate, update, and revise work orders and daily and weekly job plans and assign tasks to maintenance workersCoordinate maintenance activities with other hotel departmentsAudit work performed by maintenance workers Manage part/tool/equipment inventoriesAssist with pool and hot tub maintenance and operationBe an active member of the Hotel Emergency Response TeamQualificationsBasic maintenance skills required (plumbing, carpentry, painting)Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pumps, fans, vehicles, machinesPrevious experience as a maintenance team supervisor with an aptitude and interest in teaching and sharing knowledgePrevious experience working in a hotel an assetExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong and responsible problem-solving skillsAble to meet the physical demands of the positionGood computers skills (typing, data entry, email)Valid drivers licenseVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
