Job DescriptionThe Equipment Warehouse Labourer /Driver is required to perform tasks involving physical labour at our area Tool and Equipment Yard and commercial construction projects. The Equipment Warehouse labourer / Driver is required to assist with Cleaning tools and equipment,, maintaining an organized warehouse and yard, and delivery of tools, material and small equipment to Chandos Construction Job sites.Knowledge and use of tools, equipment and materials such as jack hammers, drills, pumps, compressors, and power toolsPick orders as required through Tool Request Forms, or walk-in and phone-in requestsLoad, unload and identify tools and equipment and distribute them to the appropriate locations within the warehouseComplete outgoing and incoming inspections of equipmentResponsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse, storage yard and external yard/shopQualificationsValid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract is requiredExperience in operation of larger vehicles and securing loads is an assetKnowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power toolsKnowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling proceduresFamiliar with driving in the cityAble to operate required trucks and equipment in a safe and responsible mannerRequires ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objectsAdditional Information#lowWe recognize that our differences are our greatest strengths.
