Job Overview
We seek a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our growing team. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, creating intuitive and visually appealing designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring those designs to life.
Responsibilities:
Generate original ideas for small, sculpture-based products such as key charms, diffusers, and other decorative art pieces.
Create detailed sketches and renderings to communicate your design concepts.
Develop detailed 3D designs and prototypes for key charms and art pieces, paying close attention to aesthetic details, material suitability, and structural integrity.
Create technical specifications and visual guides to ensure accurate reproduction and high-quality finishing of our art pieces.
Iterate on designs based on artistic feedback and practical considerations, refining both the aesthetic appeal and the manufacturability.
Research and stay inspired by trends in art, key charm design.
Contribute to the visual presentation of our products, helping to tell the story behind each piece.
Work with our production team or artisans to oversee the creation process and ensure the artistic vision is realized.
Qualities
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in sculpture, 3D product design, or small art objects.
Proficiency in traditional sketching and visualization techniques.
Understanding of basic prototyping, mold-making, or casting processes.
Creative thinker with the ability to take a product from concept to physical prototype.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with artists, production teams, and other stakeholders.
A proactive and creative problem-solver with a passion for bringing artistic visions to life.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
(Bonus) Familiarity with 3D modelling software or digital sculpting tools.
