Forest City CrossFit is expanding its coaching team! We’re open to people interested in coaching just some classes through the month or people looking to take on a lot of coaching hours and even some administrative tasks. Summary of Duties
Reporting to the Head Coach, you are an integral part of the FCCF team, providing the core service of leading members through group classes. This may include CrossFit, team and/or specialty sessions. Guided by our Vision, Mission, and Values, you will be expected to adhere to and model our Code of Conduct. As an active member of the FCCF community, you will be a visible participant in classes and events.
Work Performed
Coach members through assigned group classes
Provide 1:1 training to new members through the Foundations Program
Conduct Goal Setting/Review Sessions with members
Complete administrative tasks, as assigned
Participate in team meetings and member events
Open/close facility, as required
Interact with members to build engagement and loyalty
Interact with prospective members to entice interest
Adhere to all procedures and standards outlined in the “Conducting Exercise Sessions” SOP
Follow FCCF safety procedures, being attuned to and acting on any safety hazards, including the removal/closure of any broken equipment
Follow FCCF emergency response procedures and document incidents accordingly
Qualifications/Experience
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, ideally pursuing Level 2 and higher level certifications
and/or Two-Brain Coaching - Group Coach (One on One prerequisite)
other credentials may be considered, to be confirmed with the Head Coach/Owner

?Proven experience with coaching group fitness classes
?Passionate about health, fitness and wellness, as demonstrated in one’s own lifestyle
?Confident presence, able to command and maintain attention of boisterous groups
?Engaging personality and people skills, to establish trusting relationships and work effectively in a team environment
?Able to effectively communicate instructions to a variety of learners
?Upbeat and energetic personality, which helps motivate others
?Ability to adjust exercises and movements to suit the fitness level and/or restrictions of individual members
?Skilled with coaching and providing guidance to assist member performance
?Ability to manage and de-escalate small conflicts
?Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
?Reliable with attendance and punctuality
Engaged in self-development and able to respond
