Digital Strategy & Innovation Lead
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, data-savvy Digital Strategy & Innovation Lead to join our growing team. In this senior role, you’ll be the driving force behind integrated digital strategy, marrying bold creative ideas with performance-driven thinking across all digital touchpoints. You’ll lead the charge in helping our clients grow, adapt, and stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who’s as comfortable presenting to CMOs as they are optimizing cross-channel performance campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of integrated digital marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned media—ensuring alignment with brand goals, business objectives, and audience behavior.
Act as the strategic partner to key clients—understanding their needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and guiding them through digital transformation.
Collaborate closely with Creative, Content, and Client Services teams to bring bold, insight-driven campaigns to life.
Champion innovation by staying ahead of digital trends, testing emerging platforms, and introducing new tools, tactics, and technologies to the agency and our clients.
Translate data into clear insights and strategic recommendations, integrating analytics, media performance, and consumer behavior into every brief and initiative.
Mentor and inspire other strategists and team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
Drive thought leadership—representing Sparks as a strategic voice in client meetings, pitches, and industry conversations.
Qualifications & Experience
7–10+ years of experience in digital strategy within an agency environment.
A strong track record of building and executing high-impact digital strategies for B2C and B2B brands.
Deep understanding of digital ecosystems including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and web development projects.
Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights that influence creative and media direction.
Experience working with performance marketing tools, analytics platforms (e.g. GA4, Looker, Meta, Google Ads), and audience segmentation technologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills with executive presence and the ability to influence.
