About Pegasus
Pegasus is an Aerospace company building advanced technologies for Aerospace & Defense. We provide real-time situational awareness and predictive insights, supporting civil aviation, air traffic systems, and military platforms. Our mission is to mitigate risk and enable performance, particularly in adverse weather, through cutting-edge data analytics, sensor integration, and alerting systems.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Algorithm Developer to support our efforts in delivering high-integrity data systems and decision-support tools for clients operating in critical airspace. This role focuses on analyzing environmental and sensor-based datasets, developing algorithms for early warning, anomaly detection, and modeling hazardous weather conditions to support operational resilience and mission assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Sensor & Environmental Data Analysis
Analyze multi-modal datasets (e.g., proprietary sensor data, radar, atmospheric sensors, satellite feeds, historical weather records).
Algorithm Development & Optimization
Optimize proprietary data analysis and detection algorithms of Pegasus sensors
Build and refine algorithms for hazardous weather detection, pattern recognition, real-time risk scoring, and predictive analytics.
Numerical Modeling
Support model-driven simulations of environmental conditions.
System Integration Support Contribute to edge and cloud-based data pipelines.
Insight Delivery & Visualization
Communicate findings clearly through dashboards, reports, and briefings.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineers, operational leads, and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Atmospheric Physics, Engineering, Applied Math, or related.
