You'll support the Sustainability Disclosure and Integration team. The primary responsibility of the role is supporting sustainability disclosure, including ESG data collection, data assurance, data analysis, and generating informative and compelling reports. Your passion for sustainability, combined with a strong understanding of how data informs business performance, will influence sustainability performance in Suncor for years to come. Minimum Requirements: University degree in engineering, science, business, or equivalent education 3 years of experience as a professional engineer, scientist or business professional with experience with data collection processes and data assurance in a busy work environment Position requires a knowledge of aspects of sustainability including environmental (air, water, land, waste, etc.) and social (stakeholder relations, human rights, community impacts, etc.) Understanding of business tools and processes for data and information management Project management skills and workload management skills; working on tasks in a changing environment Knowledge and experience with the operations of oil assets with an understanding of integrated oil sustainability risks and opportunities preferred Knowledge and application of risk-based decision making Strong communications skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively influence key partners to develop common goals Key Accountabilities: Collaborate with other parts of the business to gather and manage annual ESG data Support project management for the annual Report on Sustainability Complete online data submissions to ESG data platforms Support ESG data assurance work Lead the sustainability disclosure benchmarking work Support efforts by the integration part of the team to embed sustainability considerations company-wide, working toward building a sustainability mindset in the company Location & other key details You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work.
