Why we have this role:
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in executing marketing initiatives that promote the GVF Group’s products and services, enhance brand visibility, and support sales efforts across Canada. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-facing materials, manage campaigns and events, and support the adoption of innovative tools and services across the business.
This role requires a hands-on marketer with strong project management skills, creative thinking, and a passion for bringing value to both internal teams and customers.
Working with us:
This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our head office at 151 Savage Drive, Cambridge, Ontario. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, please be advised that you may be required to work outside of these hours from time to time given the nature of the role.
What you’ll do:
Marketing Execution & Campaign Management
Support the rollout of marketing plans that align with GVF’s business objectives and customer needs.
Assist in executing campaigns that promote specific products, services, and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and ensure messaging consistency.
Manage timelines, materials, and communications for product promotions and new launches.
Sales Enablement & Support
Develop marketing tools and collateral that support sales team messaging and outreach.
Help create presentations, training materials, brochures, and farm-facing content that align with brand and business strategy.
Collaborate with sales and nutrition teams to ensure marketing materials are accurate and effective.
Brand, Events & Communications
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
Coordinate logistics and materials for tradeshows, seminars, and industry events.
Collaborate with the Brand & Communications Manager to create engaging and informative digital and print content.
Market Research & Insights
Conduct market research to support campaign development and customer segmentation.
Monitor competitor activity and provide insights that help refine marketing tactics.
Assist in collecting and reporting data on campaign performance.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Work closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Nutrition, Innovation, and Customer Service.
Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities clearly to the Director of Marketing.
Bring ideas to the table and take ownership of assigned initiatives.
Your background includes:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in agriculture, ag-tech, or B2B.
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual.
Proven experience in campaign execution, project management, and content creation.
Comfortable working with sales and technical teams to develop customer-facing materials.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bonus: experience in event coordination or digital marketing tools.
