Zaber is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our Facilities and Office Management Team for a one-year replacement role. In this role, you’ll focus on keeping our office running smoothly, supporting internal teams, and helping maintain a productive, welcoming, and well-equipped workplace.
You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring everything operates efficiently across departments by supporting a wide range of office functions and improving the systems and processes that keep our teams working effectively. From greeting visitors and welcoming new employees to coordinating events that shape our work culture, you’ll take on a variety of rewarding responsibilities.
Zaber designs and manufactures precision motion control devices, and you’ll play a key role in enabling our teams to do their best work. Your efforts will help foster a positive work environment and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day office logistics.
As an Office Manager, you will:
Greet visitors, answer and redirect calls, and create a welcoming front-desk experience.
Coordinate events, such as celebrations, Friday socials, staff lunches, summer staff BBQ, Holiday party, annual flu vaccine and hearing testing clinics.
Create and maintain clear documentation for facilities and office procedures.
Work with other teams and outside suppliers to ensure the office environment is clean, stocked, organized, safe and set up for day-to-day work and special events.
Set up new employees and orient them to our office systems.
You’re the ideal Office Manager if you:
Are organized and able to keep track of and complete multiple tasks, even when interrupted.
Have a minimum 2 years of experience as an office coordinator or office manager, or other role with transferrable skills.
Have experience working with G-suite or similar programs.
Have experience facilitating changes and working with multiple stakeholders, including giving updates, input gathering, cost-benefit analysis and collaborative decision making.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Are experienced in event coordination.
Have a driver’s license and access to a car (not required, but may be handy).
Office Manager Role Details:
The starting wage for the role is $29 - $40/hour depending on experience.
This role is classified as TEER 3 skill level on the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
This is a full-time, in-office, fixed-term position, starting mid-June 2025 and running to early July 2026.
