Role Overview Ethical Bean Coffee is looking for an experienced part-time Barista at our café in Vancouver – someone with a passion for coffee, a charismatic personality, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include customer service, coffee, and food preparation, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming café. Responsibilities · Taking orders from customers and handling cash · Preparing food and drinks · Helping to keep the café organized and clean · Opening and/or closing the café as required Requirements · Minimum commitment of 3 to 4 shifts per week and flexibility to cover extra shifts as needed · Availability during café working hours (7:00am – 3:00pm) · Passionate about coffee and sustainability · Excellent customer service skills · Previous experience with a manual espresso machine and latte art is considered an asset. · Driver’s license, Food Safe certification and Hep A certificate are an asset but not a requirement.
