Closing Date 26/05/2025 Condition Based Maintenance Manager Location: South Coast, you can be based within our patch- Kent, Sussex or Hampshire- 3 office/ sites and remaining work from home- Driving licence is essential Perm/FTC: Permanent Hours: 37 hrs, Monday- Friday Salary: Up to £58K- Depending on skills and experience You will be leading and managing a team of CBM engineers and analysts, ensuring that team members are properly trained in reliability engineering, condition-based maintenance techniques, data analytics and best practices for asset management. Working closely with the Reliability Engineers your role will be key in implementing condition-based maintenance plans for assets, ensuring that monitoring, assessment, and maintenance activities are aligned with the overall maintenance strategy. You will identify and deploy the right condition monitoring tools and technologies to track the health of assets and keeping track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and maintenance costs, to evaluate the effectiveness of the CBM strategy. Using your experience in analysing, designing, operating, maintaining, managing or constructing assets, you will implement predictive maintenance techniques, using data analytics and statistical models to forecast equipment failures and optimize maintenance scheduling. As part of driving continuous improvement, you will regularly review performance data identifying weaknesses, and optimizing the CBM program for better results. Collaborating with stakeholders to implement cost-effective Condition based maintenance strategies that comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards is pivotal in this role. As a confident communicator, you will be able to produce reports and performance summaries for senior management that demonstrate the effectiveness of CBM, including any improvements, new technology, risks, or challenges. including metrics such as downtime reduction, cost savings, asset reliability improvements, and maintenance effectiveness. To be successful in this role, you will be have strong leadership and management skills with proficiency in vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and other tools with good working exposure within Reliability Analysis Techniques (RCM and FMECA), Reliability-focused strategies (RCM, PM, CBM) and Predictive analytics, machine learning, and failure prediction models. Highly organised logical thinker and analytical with excellent planning skills, you’ll be able to manage your own time and working towards meeting deadlines. A great communicator with an engaging personal style, you will be joining us being part of a completely new team, shaping effective CBM strategies by creating new team of route based engineers dedicated for condition based management with great new plans for our new investment period, AMP 8.
