Printing Clerk
Exciting on-site opportunity in the printing industry supporting digital print, bindery, and mail services. This hands-on role involves operating finishing equipment, performing quality control, handling customer orders, and using Microsoft Office tools. Responsibilities:
• Operate digital print equipment.
• Operate standard finishing equipment including paper cutters, bindery, laminating, and drill.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer requests, providing estimates, scheduling jobs, and tracking production.
• Perform basic quality inspections before, during, and after each production run.
• Track and store jobs for future reuse based on customer requirements.
• Maintain production logs and information for billing purposes.
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to production, delivery, and output.
• Walk within the building and stand for up to 80% of the workday.
• Lift items up to 50 pounds as needed.
What you will need to succeed:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary technology training or related experience (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service or print production environment.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
