We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office for the afternoon shift.
Weekend coverage required
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities, and information
Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity
Strong ability to de-escalate situations and be able to handle individuals that need to be removed from the property
Perform detailed and diligent patrols
Ability to handle emergency alarms in a quick manner (e.g., Fire Alarms, etc.)
Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel
Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed
Work with local police service
Draft reports
Coordinate with internal departments if incase of emergency or an accident
Responsible for providing accident reports or video screen to Safety team in case of any accident
Assist in carrying out Emergency Response Plans in the event of an actual crisis.
Electronically maintain accurate and complete security records.
Must hold and maintain valid applicable Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR Certification
Minimum of 1 year of tactical security experience in large venue settings in a team environment
Comfortable working Afternoon shift or night shift
Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification would be an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
Ability to exercise vigilance and multitask is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)
Ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations and successfully resolve customer issues in a diplomatic and professional manner
Computer/ tech savvy and adapt to new softwares quickly
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal English
Strong decision-making ability – shows good judgment and confidence
